About Us

Rogers Nursery, Inc., was founded in 1934 by Donald F. Rogers, formerly the forester for the City of Lake Forest. He was joined in the business by his son, Donald Jr., and Donald Jr.’s wife Edith in the late 1950s. Their son, Dan Rogers (Donald F. Rogers III) has been working in the family business since 1978 and stepped up to fill the gap left by his father’s death in 1993.

Today, Edith focuses on the business end, managing the office. Dan runs the day-to-day operations including meeting with clients, customer care, and supervising landscape and construction crews. Dan is assisted in client relations with Amy Olson.

Amy Olson, PLA, ASLA, CLARB, is an Illinois-registered landscape architect and designer who provides customer care and landscape design ideas to refresh and renovate your existing landscape, create a completely new look, or create your dream outdoor sanctuary.

Rogers Nursery, Inc., is fully insured (worker’s compensation and liability). At the client's request, we will supply a certificate of insurance with the client named as an additional insured before work is begun.
