About Us

Rogers Nursery, Inc., was founded in 1934 by Donald F. Rogers, formerly the forester for the City of Lake Forest. He was joined in the business by his son, Donald Jr., and Donald Jr.’s wife Edith in the late 1950s. Their son, Dan (Donald F. Rogers III) has been working in the family business since 1978 and stepped up to fill the gap left by his father’s death in 1993.

Today, Edith Rogers stays on top of the business end while Dan runs the day-to-day operations. Dan is assisted in client relations and landscape design by David O’Neill, a lifelong resident of Lake Forest. David has extensive design experience and has been a great asset to Rogers Nursery.

Rogers Nursery, Inc., is fully insured (worker’s compensation and liability). At client's request, we will supply a certificate of insurance with the client named as an additional insured before work is begun.
